Congratulations Rob B.! We are very honored to have you as our Athlete of the month. You always work so hard and have come a long way, and it shows.


Rob has been working so hard since he started CF and we remember when a full squat was nonexistent for Rob and now it’s ass to grass all the time! Consistency is key. We can’t wait to see your journey this coming year. Keep it up Sir Rob!

2. How old are you? 60 years old


3. Where did you grow up? Tucson


4. When did you become a member at Crossfit East Tucson? About a year and a half ago.


5. What type of program or exercise/s were you doing before you tried Crossfit?
Studio Fit and running.


6. What is your profession?

Small Business Owner.


7. What else do you like to do outside of Crossfit East Tucson? (Hobbies and likes) Travel and reading.


8. How did you find out about Crossfit East Tucson?

Adrian and Aubrey suggested I try it!


9. When did you first know that Crossfit is right for you?

When I tore my shins up on the box jump.


10. What is your least favorite WOD or movement and why?

Overhead squats because I am very tall.


11. What is your favorite WOD or movement?

Deadlifts, back squats and Murph style workouts. I especially enjoyed Christmas Eve and New Years Eve workout.


12. Brag about yourself. Since you have been in CFET, we have seen your growth as an athlete. Tell us about your journey.

I am still able to drive home after class.


13. Do you know FRAN? If you do, how do you feel about her and what is your time? If you don’t know her, are you excited to meet her because I heard she is pretty amazing?

14. What or who motivates you during your WODs? Coaches and other participants.


15. What is that one thing you thought you could never do at CFET but succeeded to get it done?

Finish the workout.


16. Tell us something about yourself that not a lot of people know about? The weirder the better. 🙂

I have traveled around the world. I have run my first and last marathon at age 55.


17. Do you have any advice for new Crossfitters?

Don’t be intimidated.

530 pm on weekdays and 830am on Saturdays.
