This wonderful woman is not only an OG here at CFET but she is simply phenomenal. Michelle is always so focused and ready to rock it in the box. We couldn’t be more proud and honored to call her our Sept Athlete of the Month. Your hard work and dedication shows and we couldn’t help but notice ☺️

5. What type of program or exercise/s were you doing before you tried Crossfit?
BootCamp at the Y

6. What is your profession? Recording Clerk (sit on my butt all day) 🙁

7. What else do you like to do outside of Crossfit East Tucson? (Hobbies and likes)

Reading, spending time with family and friends, Concerts.

8. How did you find out about Crossfit East Tucson?

Joined the gym in 2013 looked in the CrossFit window and it looked like fun at the time.

9. When did you first know that Crossfit is right for you?

I’m still not sure it is.

10. What is your least favorite WOD or movement and why?

Snatch, because it’s the most difficult for me.

11. What is your favorite WOD or movement?

Deadlifts

12. Brag about yourself. Since you have been in CFET, we have seen your growth as an athlete. Tell us about your journey.

I feel that I am stronger, fitter, all around healthier as I’m getting older.

13. Do you know FRAN? If you do, how do you feel about her and what is your time? If you don’t know her, are you excited to meet her because I heard she is pretty amazing?

I’m sure I have I’ve just blocked that memory.

14. What or who motivates you during your WODs?

The people in the class and that darn clock.

15. What is that one thing you thought you could never do at CFET but succeeded to get it done?

Just about any movement that includes a weighted barbell.

16. Tell us something about yourself that not a lot of people know about? The weirder the better. 🙂

Keep coming back.

Whoever shows up to class each night.
