Congratulations  Amber Wyss! You are truly an inspiration inside and outside of the gym. Not only are you an amazing Mother but you are one badass Athlete. We all wish we can move like you when it’s Oly time. 🏋🏽‍♀️ Form is always on point. You have been very consistent and it shows. Keep rockin’ Queen!

1. Name: Amber Wyss

2. How old are you? I’ll be 30 on the 30th 🙌🏼

3. Where did you grow up? Born in Austin, raised in Tucson.

4. When did you become a member at Crossfit East Tucson? May 2018

5. What type of program or exercise/s were you doing before you tried Crossfit? None 😂

6. What is your profession? Homemaker 💕 dream job

7. What else do you like to do outside of Crossfit East Tucson? (Hobbies and likes) I love calligraphy, lettering, serving at church, spending time with my husband, Nick.

8. How did you find out about Crossfit East Tucson? Nick told me about it.

9. When did you first know that Crossfit is right for you? I’m not sure… I just kept attending classes because it was something proactive Nick and I would do together when we were engaged. I guess over time I personally fell in love with it.

10. What is your least favorite WOD or movement and why? Pull ups… I just can’t get them.

11. What is your favorite WOD or movement? I love Olympic Lifts. 🏋🏻‍♀️

12. Brag about yourself. Since you have been in CFET, we have seen your growth as an athlete. Tell us about your journey. Well I’ve been doing CrossFit for 3 years and in that time I’ve had two babies… I’m just trying to keep at it and lose baby weight 😂

13. Do you know FRAN? If you do, how do you feel about her and what is your time? If you don’t know her, are you excited to meet her because I heard she is pretty amazing? She’s cool. She’s knocks the wind out of your lungs real quick though… probably 6 mins ish… with jumping pull-ups.

14. What or who motivates you during your WODs? Definitely the class. Everyone is so encouraging and will cheer you on.
15. What is that one thing you thought you could never do at CFET but succeeded to get it done? Still waiting to find out.

16. Tell us something about yourself that not a lot of people know about? The weirder the better. 🙂 I can play the guitar and sing.

17. Do you have any advice for new Crossfitters? Get it class, make it a priority and study form and always strive to make your form better.

18. Who is your favorite Crossfit Athlete? Nick Wyss. He’s always impressing me 😍

19. Describe yourself in one word. Dedicated

20. Which class do you usually take? 8:30am

21. If you had to program a WOD, what would it be?
