Congratulations Jacki! How cool is this, such a quiet athlete, but her hard work shows loudly. Jacki have been doing great in class and it shows. She is teachable and such a fun athlete to push through her own boundaries.

 

It’s truly an honor to have you as our athlete of the month. Keep up the hard work and continue to kick ass in the gym! Also, don’t worry Jacki, we will keep working on those awful box Jumps. It will get easier!

9. When did you first know that Crossfit is right for you?

Still thinking! Ha! Probably a month into it I knew I liked it

 

10. What is your least favorite WOD or movement and why?

Anything box jumps- I just can’t!

 

11. What is your favorite WOD or movement?

The barbell, for some reason I like working with the weights

 

12. Brag about yourself. Since you have been in CFET, we have seen your growth as an athlete. Tell us about your journey.

I told my friend she was crazy, but I would try it with her..and here I am two years later and loving it

 

13. Do you know FRAN? If you do, how do you feel about her and what is your time? If you don’t know her, are you excited to meet her because I heard she is pretty amazing?

I heard Fran wasn’t cool, so we are not friends!

 

14. What or who motivates you during your WODs?

My friends and my great coaches

 

15. What is that one thing you thought you could never do at CFET but succeeded to get it done?

Running. I’m not about it but it is improving

 

16. Tell us something about yourself that not a lot of people know about? The weirder the better. 🙂

I’m that person that always laughs when I shouldn’t

It’s a good pain, stick with it
